I was recently asked about a spider infestation in a member's home. Although I don't usually deal with this type of infestation, I will address this one.

As with any spider, spraying is generally frowned upon. As I understand it, you essentially have to spray a spider directly in order to effect control. Seeing as though these are not typically colonial pests, this makes the application of pesticides difficult and not efficient. I have found glue boards to be a more fiesable way of controlling ...

This is a pigeon control company that seems to profit off of the garbage jobs that pest control companies do on a regular basis. If you have spent any time following my opinions throughout our time here, you will know that I absolutely hate it when pest control companies attempt to get involved in the field of nuisance wildlife control/removal. Their substandard work is often dangerous to the public and it is expensive, not to mention ineffective.

There is a new product gaining popularity called OvoControl. This product is designed to controll egg-laying. I have always been a fan of the nesting box concept as opposed to using poisons or chemicals, but in a more rural setting or an industrial setting this woud be a very useful method.

Teepee Fire

This is a useful fire that is easy to light. Basically you want to build a teepee type structure around your tinder bundle while leaving access to light your tinder bundle.

First, gather your tinder bundle. Next, place a few twigs around the tinder bundle in the form of a teepee, and make sure to slightly press them into the ground to provide support. Now, place small kindling twigs around the tinder bundle, following the teepee pattern. Continue with the pattern adding ...

Watched some sparrow hopping around in the yard and figured I would try to trap them in a squirrel trap for fun. It worked, trapped 8 sparrow, 4 of them males. Even trapped 2 at once one time. All I did was ziptie some stale bread to the trigger. When they tried to pull it off they set the trap.

Check this out:

me and my wife moved into our new apartment on a tuesday,

by friday morning of that week my bike was gone.

That night I remember coming home from work at 12:00 am. we where watching TV for a while and we heard footsteps in the backyard. I turned on the lignt to see who was out there but couldn't see anything. I never thought of going outside and checking up on my bike. Now I regret it.
